In a decisive crackdown on terrorism, police in Handwara attached the property of a terrorist handler in Palpora village today. This action targets the broader framework supporting terror activities in the region, reinforcing the commitment of law enforcement to ensure public safety.
The police spokesperson confirmed that this action stems from FIR No. 73/2011 registered at Police Station Kralgund. Investigations revealed that Nazir Ahmad Ganai, a Palpora resident currently operating from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), has been actively involved in directing and managing terror operations that affect the local populace.
“Following due legal procedures and obtaining sanctions from the competent authority, Ganai’s land in Palpora was attached in the presence of police and revenue officials,” stated the spokesperson. This coordinated effort signifies the proactive measures being taken by the police to erode the structures that support terrorism.
